The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead 2-4 program delivery teams, overseeing significant carbon reduction projects with budgets reaching up to £150 million.
Reporting directly to the Assistant Director, you will ensure that multiple projects meet their timelines and deliver on projected carbon savings.
You will work closely with strategic partners and stakeholders to influence policy and the design of future schemes.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the execution of diverse decarbonization projects, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
Provide regular performance insights to the executive team and funding partners, addressing strategic risks.
Collaborate internally to spearhead the development and initiation of new funding programs.
Oversee project completions, manage resource allocation, and ensure accurate forecasting.
Establish and nurture relationships with government entities and key stakeholders.
Coordinate public relations activities, represent the organization at industry events, and promote energy efficiency initiatives.
Guide, motivate, and develop team members, fostering skill enhancement and mental well-being.
Qualifications and Skills Demonstrated project management experience, preferably within sustainability or energy efficiency fields.
Strong leadership abilities, capable of managing large teams and complex projects.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strategic mindset with a dedication to sustainability and energy efficiency.
Salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000, based on relevant experience.
