The Role: Finance Change Senior Project Manager M&G are looking for a Project Manager to manage projects designed to help achieve the strategic objectives of the firm's transformation agenda, including new business growth initiatives within the Finance Change team.
The team are looking for an experienced Project Manager with previous experience of Finance Change Management within the Financial Services sector.

Key Responsibilities: Adherence with the Change Lifecycle and Standards, promoting a strong project governance framework.
Work closely with stakeholders within Finance to define project goals, scope and timelines and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Motivate a multi-disciplined team (and/or external) representatives to ensure the project delivers on time and within budget.
Identify the key risks and issues that the relevant initiatives are running and ensure mitigating/resolution actions are fully considered and managed.
Work closely with the PMO and other project leads, both within the Finance Change team and other business areas where necessary, to ensure consistency and alignment of the milestones delivered and any related dependencies Ability to take a hands-on role within the project, working with Finance professionals.
Responsible for escalating and resolving issues if they arise To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.
Key Skills & Competencies: Project management experience within Financial Services with an understanding of different management methodologies, frameworks and tools.
Proven track record of successfully delivering change projects on time and to high quality standards Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with business units and project teams Strong influence and negotiating skills with an ability to manage a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders Strong analytic and proven problem-solving skills with an ability to negotiate pragmatic solutions to meet conflicting business requirements.
Highly motivated, proactive and resilient.
Excellent report writing skills so that key messages are understood Ability to be flexible and to manage ambiguity during project delivery.
Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.
