Senior Project Manager - Full Time

Salary: Up to £67500 per annum dependent on experience Shift hours: Full Time Senior Project Manager £60k - £67.5k per annum dependent on experience  Hybrid – 2-3 days per week in Birmingham   Benefits Include: Private medical Professional development opportunities Travel throughout the UK & Ireland Aviva DigiCare+ Perks at Work access Free meals onsite Employee Assistance Programme Reporting into the Head of Enterprise Programme Delivery, the Senior Project Manager will manage end-to-end delivery of projects within the OS2.0 transformation programme and other enterprise-wide initiatives.
This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
As Senior Project Manager you will work with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to align resources and manage risks, ensuring the seamless delivery of transformation goals.
Key responsibilities will include: Developing and managing multiple project plans, ensure timely delivery, and adjust plans as needed to mitigate risks.
Providing regular project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
Proactively identifying risks and develop mitigation strategies, escalating critical issues as needed.
Monitoring project resources and budgets, ensuring efficient use and alignment with goals.
Ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and strategic objectives.
Coordinating across teams and departments to ensure cohesive project delivery aligned with enterprise-wide goals.
The successful Senior Project Manager will have proven experience managing large scale projects, demonstrable success working with cross-functional teams and managing project finances and proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
In addition they will; Have strong financial management, governance, and reporting skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to coach and mentor teams, driving project success.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable.
Strong collaboration and resilience under pressure.
Results-driven with a focus on delivering business objectives.
Certifications like Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or PMI-ACP are desirable.
