Hours: Flexible, from 3 to 4 days (22.5-30 hours) per week
Contract: 18 months (potential to extend)
Based: London office/remote and flexible working arrangement available
Holiday and Pension: 25 days holiday plus Christmas break. Pension at 10% employer contribution (5% employee). We are a Living Pension employer.
Purpose: We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to coordinate an 18-month project exploring how we can operationalise a new in-work poverty benchmark for employers in London. This benchmark, developed by the Social Market Foundation, has the potential to improve the lives of low paid workers, building on the success of the Living Wage campaigns.
The in-work poverty benchmark project is a new and exciting pilot project at the Living Wage Foundation. This role would help us develop the pilot through employer case studies and extensive stakeholder engagement with a view to launching a new vehicle to recognise employers who adopt the in-work poverty benchmark.
Main Responsibilities: Contribute to the achievement of the LWF and CUK's strategic aims.Develop and manage external relationships, including stakeholder engagement plans.Build and manage projects and achieve work targets effectively.Conduct research and evaluations to inform the project.Manage communications and promote the Living Wage Foundation's mission.Develop and manage internal relationships across teams.Generate income and resources for the project.Key Skills: Experience and Qualifications: Experience of building consensus between diverse stakeholders to drive progressive change.A track record of developing mutually rewarding corporate and/or third sector partnerships.Primary research skills with experience of conducting evaluations.Experience of conducting secondary research and writing reports.Previous experience of developing and implementing new products, projects or services.Key Skills and Knowledge: Excellent project management skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills.Strong communication skills.Strong report writing skills.Understanding of anti-poverty policy and campaigning.Personal Attributes: A proactive approach to all areas of work.A strong commitment to the Living Wage campaign.Application Procedure: At Citizens UK, we use Applied, an applicant-tracking recruitment system.
