About the Role
The Senior Project Manager - Regions is responsible for overseeing and managing regional projects from inception to completion.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in project management.
The Senior Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, to scope, and within budget.
They will ensure that project and regional objectives are aligned to member priorities.
They will effectively resource plan and proactively communicate cross-functional asks and developments which touch on all areas of the GSMA to ensure alignment of goals and effective communication channels.
They will capture and report on impact.
About You The ideal candidate will display the following qualities:
• Proven delivery of global virtual team project management, driving results and meeting objectives and can demonstrate high-level project achievements
• Applied knowledge of project management methodologies, such as APM, Agile and Prince2
• Solid understanding of managing impact-based global projects and resources
• Conducts effective stakeholder and communication management techniques, conveying information to a variety of multi-level stakeholders
• Able to absorb detailed information and communicate effectively at all levels to both expert and non-expert audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to build effective business relationships
• Can develop and manage portfolio plans and develop high-quality documentation including PowerPoint slides
• Awareness of advocacy policies for the mobile industry
• Operational experience with Asana is preferred
• Global travel is expected
