Senior Project Management Officer

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our client, a leading engineering contractor, working onsite with their client in South Wales.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a major construction project, managing civil and structural engineering works and collaborating with a dynamic Construction Management team.
You will oversee the delivery of civil and structural engineering contracts, acting as Project Manager for works contracts while coordinating with the Construction Management team.
This role offers a chance to showcase your technical expertise and leadership skills on a significant project.
Assess payment applications, early warning notices, and compensation events, focusing on time and cost impacts.
Review and approve risk assessments and method statements.
Monitor and maintain high-quality standards for all works.
Collaborate with the client team, contractors, and the supply chain to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Utilize BIM systems (e.g., Provide regular reporting to senior client managers, working closely with construction and project controls teams.

Proven ability to manage quality, costs, and budgets in construction contracts.
Excellent motivational and team management skills.
UK/EEC driving licence.

Civil/structural engineering design or design management experience.
Experience with industrial or heavy civil engineering projects.
Proficiency in NEC contract management.
Contract Type: Outside IR35
Rate: £40-£45 per hour
