Job Description The Senior Program Delivery Manager will be responsible for leading complex projects, managing multiple workstreams, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.
This role will have high visibility within the organization and will be responsible for overseeing the program and managing relationships with clients and driving program success.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage high-priority programmes involving cutting-edge technology at a major UK airport.
Serve as the primary point of contact with strategic customers, ensuring strong relationships and successful program delivery.
Collaborate with Airport engineering, innovation, and operationalteams to align program goals with company objectives and customer needs.
Address performance issues within teams, implement corrective actions, and drive efficiency to improve program outcomes.
Manage program budgets, track performance against goals, and ensure return on investment aligns with business objectives.
Contribute to strategic decisions around growing the programmes.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align program goals, share progress, and solve complex challenges.
Support definition offuture technical scope, capability, and details of program requirements, customer needs, and deliverables.
Obtain and manage the necessary cross-functional resources across the programmes.
Identify and resolve critical issues, such as product delivery delays and changes to customer requirements, to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of program management experience in eitheraerospace, defense, or a closely related high-tech industry.
Proven track record of successfully leading programs valued at £10 million or more annually.
Familiarity with Airport technology and infrastructure systems, including aircraft arrival and departure systems, aircraft embarking/disembarking systems, secure communication technologies would be beneficial.
Demonstrated success in managing relationships with high-profile customers, with a particular focus on relationship-building and managing complex programs.
Strong understanding of program fundamentals - business unit goals, budgeting, ROI, and innovationmanagement, with a strategic mindset to drive business growth.
Proven ability to navigate complexity, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Degree in Engineering or related field; Masters Degree (MBA or MS Management) preferred.
