Whether you want a career that could take you to the top, or simply take you in an exciting new direction, HSBC offers opportunities, support and rewards that will take you further.
What are we doing?
We aim to make the lives of our engineers across HSBC much better by improving their experience in engineering software and supporting them in shipping safely to Production, for the benefit of the bank's users & customers.
We want to change the bank in many ways:  ·       We aim to tackle the tech debt in our systems that hinders our efficiency and user experience, on a constant & iterative basis ·       We are helping to drive the banks' DevOps agenda and minimise the handoffs between teams that have become so prevalent over the last decade ·       We help other teams to move faster, by showing then them simple techniques they can implement immediately to move towards true continuous integration & delivery ·       We are delivery focused, with most of our team in engineering roles.
Our programme and project management function is lean.
How are we doing it?
We are striving to be agile in its truest sense.
We have a vision; we try to do the smallest possible thing and iterate on the back of feedback.
We are product driven, not project driven.
We aim to get working software into the hands of users.
We are changing everything we do all the time to minimise waste and to go faster.
We take pride in the quality of the software we deliver to our users; we seek to move at pace with repeatability, safety and control.
We don't just talk, we do.

We need your help to continue improving and grow, and that is why we are hiring.
We're looking for a product portfolio manager who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuff done.
We are looking for someone comfortable working alongside our product owners to drive customer success through deep customer empathy, "just enough" governance and status reporting and well as driving continuous improvement through retros.
