We are looking for a high-caliber Senior Product Manager who will lead key components of Seller Experience and will build ground up experiences for driving success for selling partners in MENATR (UAE, KSA, EG & TR). You will build the right experience for selling partners through a combination of reapplying globally available solves and creating new ones from scratch for the region.
Sellers are a critical part of Amazon's ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering the Earth's largest selection and lowest prices. This role will be a combination of product ownership and business strategy ownership to ensure sellers in the region have the best experience for building their business on Amazon.
This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities and acumen. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, have strong attention to detail, and will be comfortable assessing and working with multiple sources envisioning what will be the ideal experience for selling partners to succeed in the region. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by the ambiguity or competing priorities to scale a business in a new geography. This means you are not only able to own high-level strategic initiatives, but also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
The ideal candidate will have experience in product management, excellent analytical abilities to identify the opportunity and root cause of issues, business acumen, and strong data driven strategic decision-making skills while working on multiple projects. She or he will have experience in leading internal and external stakeholders and drive strategic discussion with leaderships to prioritize the project she or he owns using persuasive data points. Keys to success include strong analytical skills, comfortable working in ambiguous situations, project management and interpersonal skills, along with an intense customer obsession.
Key job responsibilities Create the long-term vision and strategy for your products and lead the definition and management of high-quality product roadmaps toward that vision.Author high quality documents (narratives & user requirement documents) to define your vision and secure stakeholder alignment. Own monthly reporting of your initiatives to senior leadership.Independently collaborate & influence partners across diverse orgs (both tech and business) to calibrate on the customer needs and ensure the technical solutions are designed to address the needs of selling partners and customers.Manage delivery of current products concurrently with future product planning.Drive adoption growth of rolled out solutions, assess open opportunities to further enhance internal and external Customer Experience and remove friction points.Influence trade-off decisions with the tech & platform teams regarding features and priorities within the roadmap based on overall relative impact and speed to market.Be a visible and vocal supporter of needs of MENATR selling partners in global forums. The Seller Success & Growth team serves our primary customer set of sellers. We build products which enable sellers to start and grow their business on Amazon.Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with end to end product delivery.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
- Experience as a product manager or owner.
- Experience owning technology products.
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights.
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
