Role Description Reporting to the Vice President of Product Management, this is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Product Manager AMAG Technology in Tewkesbury, with flexibility for some remote work.
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for leading the product strategy of a product line within the AMAG Symmetry Access Control solutions portfolio to achieve the AMAG business goals and exceed customer expectations.
Specific responsibilities include working directly with customers and sales to gain market feedback, market research identifying trends, competitive analysis, and providing detailed feature specifications to drive product development.
Identification and negotiation of strategic partnerships to build out the required line card of products within the relevant product area.
Lastly, this role is responsible for the product roadmap to maximize business benefit, justifying investment prioritization with business case detail.
Qualifications ·Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, marketing, business administration Qualification in subjects such as Product Management, Product Marketing, or Agile Development are desirable.
Knowledge and Skills Required: Experience in the physical Security industry (5-Year Minimum) is required.
Direct experience with access control products Experience driving New Product Introduction (NPI) Process into an organization and driving change within cross functional teams to implement new processes.
Manufactured product experience is a plus.
Technical understanding of software and HW/FW programming/scripting languages, design considerations, and integration strategies such as API's/SDK's.
Strong negotiation skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of operational issues with portfolio management, risk management, etc.
Able to formulate and implement global strategies for products.
Customer-centric mindset with the capability of translating that into the product development process.
Strong project management skills and attention to detail Understanding of the user experience and design Strategic and creative thinking skills; ability to craft go-to-market strategies and campaigns in collaboration with marketing.
Able to distill product roadmaps into digestible and relevant presentations to key customers and partners.
Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, technical documents, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to effectively present information to upper management and public groups as necessary both in written and oral formats Ability to work independently and make independent decisions.
Strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Candidates must be willing to travel.
