Senior Product Manager / Founding Product Manager - c£90-100k + options + bens - initially fully remote but once the office is opened in London, expect 2 days a week together The goal is to shape the Future of AI-Driven Insurance Solutions for this $300bn+ industry.

As the Founding Product Manager , you will be at the forefront of transforming the insurance industry for this exceptionally well backed VC start up.
Your mission will be to lead and execute the product roadmap, bridging the worlds of cutting-edge AI innovation and real-world insurance challenges.
Collaborating closely with engineers, claims experts, and external stakeholders, you'll translate user pain points into groundbreaking technological solutions that empower users and redefine claims processing.

This role offers a unique opportunity to pioneer an AI-first approach to product development , shaping the future of claims management through state-of-the-art technology.
You won't just build tools—you'll reimagine how digital solutions are conceived, developed, and applied in a legacy industry.

Key Responsibilities Product Roadmap Leadership: Define and drive the MVP and future product iterations, overseeing prioritisation, development, and delivery.
AI Integration: Lead the integration of AI solutions into technologies, ensuring innovative yet practical applications that empower end users like claims adjusters.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a central link between internal teams (Product, Engineering, Claims), leadership (e.g., the CEO), and external stakeholders (SMEs, partners) to align efforts with the overall product vision.
User-Centered Design: Establish feedback loops to gather insights from end users, iteratively improving the product to address real-world pain points.
Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage analytics to guide product decisions, defining and tracking key metrics (KPIs) to measure success and inform iterative enhancements.
Focused Feature Development: Prioritise features to ensure the engineering team remains focused on building core value, managing the entire development cycle from requirements to delivery.
Clear Communication: Translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders, building consensus across SMEs, engineers, and business teams.
Startup Agility: Adapt to the fast-paced and evolving nature of a startup, wearing multiple hats to drive the product forward.
Preferred Qualifications: 5–7+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or autonomous role.
Proven experience building and scaling AI-centric products, particularly those leveraging LLMs or NLP technologies.
Familiarity with the insurance or claims sector—or similar regulated industries (e.g., finance)—is a plus but not essential.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to create robust frameworks and conduct thorough user research.
A strategic mindset, skilled at developing product roadmaps that balance short-term feasibility with long-term vision and anticipate future technological shifts.
A creative approach to problem-solving, with a knack for translating user challenges into innovative, actionable product features.
Strong communication skills, capable of building cross-functional consensus, presenting data-driven insights, and articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Hands-on experience managing product delivery, implementing feedback loops, and coordinating efforts across engineering and business teams.
