PurposeOur team is passionate about the customer experience and meeting the needs of our customers today while innovating to delight them tomorrow. IDP is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the scoping, delivery, and rollout of our client operations modernization program, creating a global enterprise platform to support our client sales, marketing, revenue, and delivery operations.
You will own the product roadmap and delivery for key products within your portfolio, balancing hands-on product management responsibilities in collaboration with the global product team.
You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery, including go-to-market strategies, change management, product-market fit, and benefits realisation. This role is critical to accelerating IDP's global growth and transforming our client operations systems and B2B CRM to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and a market-leading client experience.
This hybrid role is based out of the IDP's London office, reporting to the Head of Product and working closely with the Director of Customer Success and Operations. As a global role, there is an expectation of working hours that enable effective collaboration with global colleagues, including teams in Melbourne and Chennai.
ResponsibilitiesAct as the subject matter expert for client operations products and systems, advocating for client needs within the organization.Collaborate with commercial, client success, CX, UX, and analytics teams to identify, define, and frame problems and opportunities, co-developing actionable solutions.Conduct regular internal, external, and competitor analyses to identify and prioritize risks, challenges, and growth opportunities.Support the creation of strategies, business architectures, business cases, and delivery plans in partnership with senior stakeholders.Define and deliver objectives and key results (OKRs) for the product portfolio, ensuring impact assessment and proactive risk management.Develop, prioritize, and execute the roadmap for the product portfolio, aligning with strategic goals and revenue targets.Manage key products hands-on, refining business cases, defining roadmaps, and coordinating stakeholder communications.Collaborate with the value delivery office and project managers on program/project planning, PI planning, and communication strategies.Develop and validate value propositions for international client products, supporting go-to-market strategies.Contribute to developing a global product culture, and enhancing processes and systems within the global product team.Ensure client needs are prioritized and aligned with the global product team's planning and sequencing efforts.Stay informed on trends and innovations within higher education and related industries, identifying risks and opportunities.Ensure compliance with company policies, particularly regarding budget planning, management, and procurement.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Product.QualificationsSenior-level Product Management experience driving the delivery of enterprise transformation programs of B2B systems, ideally CRM and marketing systems.Ability to create a solid Roadmap – which drives value for the business and our clients year on year.Experience in driving AGILE teams with lean thinking to establish effective product and delivery practices.Drive product development with a design-first approach, ensuring we build the best customer experiences for our clients – a great UX that is future-proof.Strong analytical skills when working with large data to develop master data models.Savvy in developing business cases, and strategies while managing stakeholder buy-in.Growth mindset with a focus on outcomes, solutions, and achieving outstanding performance.Strong communication skills to influence internal and external stakeholders effectively.Solid understanding of technical architecture for web, mobile, CRM, and marketing systems, with the ability to work credibly with developers.High attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities, and meet challenging deadlines.Degree or equivalent professional experience.Knowledge of domestic and international higher education recruitment and admissions practices and procedures for one or more of the following destination markets (UK, Australia, Canada, US).What's on offer:In return, we can offer a competitive base salary & bonus along with the following benefits:
