YOUR TEAM IS IN CHARGE OF Shell Recharge Solutions is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help bring the capabilities of our market leading Software-as-a-Service platform to our enterprise customers and partners via open application programming interfaces.
This AWS-based distributed multi-technology platform is central to an eMobility ecosystem that consists of massive worldwide cloud infrastructure, Electric Vehicle Chargers (L2 and DC Fast Charging), Battery Energy Storage systems, integration with regional Energy Utilities, Renewable Energy, and the hardware/software to facilitate administration, predictive management, and communication between sites and facilities.
This role will guide our implementation of industry standard integration APIs, determine our approach to standards adherence or extension, and work with stakeholders to map business requirements to technical solutions to design and deliver end-to-end capabilities for EV drivers.
This position will drive the productization of our platform to mobility service providers and define our approach to commercializing technical capabilities as the industry evolves from vertically integrated offerings to an innovative new model built on cloud-based platform integrations.
THIS IS HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE Your core accountabilities are to...
Build user-centric (design first approach), data-driven products by championing products and features from conception to implementation.
Understand the competitive landscape by keeping up with the latest trends in marketing.
Determine customers' needs through persona-based research and product feedback and help define the overall customer journey.
Build, maintain, and own a prioritized roadmap in collaboration with the cross-functional stakeholders.
Drive feature delivery and business results with cross-functional departments such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Legal by approaching these interactions with collaboration and empathy towards common goals.
Drive the overall commercialization strategy including GTM strategy, pricing strategy, integration strategy (incl.
software, hardware and services), implementation, and reporting strategy.
Demonstrate strong product judgment and expertise with an ability to formulate product strategy and present clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving our business goals and drive revenue.
Formulate and test hypotheses, gather data, synthesize findings, and promote data literacy across the organization.
Develop features that can integrate in a variety of technical environments, using Agile/SCRUM methodology by effectively managing trade-offs on scope, resources, timeline, and customer benefit across multiple, complex feature sets.
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products.
Drive product launches through collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Knowledge sharing tools and documents (e.g., User Guides, FAQs, Training Videos).
THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR Bachelor's Degree.
Self-motivated and team-oriented individual who has a passion to change the world.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a product manager within a technology environment, with a record of successfully delivering complex products preferably SaaS products and developing self-service applications.
Experience managing dependencies and receiving the agreement and trust of stakeholders to deliver a successful product.
Background collaborating with software engineering/development teams.
Exceptional organization skills, meticulous attention to detail, critical thinking, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Proficient in Rally, JIRA, Confluence, and other development management tools.
Additional experience preferred, but not required: Experience with electric vehicle charging software offerings and EVs is a plus.
