About the roleSuperscript is on the lookout for a strategic and commercially-focused Senior Product Manager to increase our product portfolio.
You'll work at the forefront of our insurtech business to manage our insurance products, influencing various product opportunities and prioritisation.
What you'll get up to:Manage the product performance of the online insurance business, across all customer verticals. Being fully accountable for the performance, representing product at the weekly portfolio Steerco.
Lead product management and influence the business to adopt a product life cycle approach, setting out clear KPI's, including quotability and conversion, and as well as commercially focused metrics.
Determine and maintain common question sets and how these work and are maintained as we develop our product offering.
Lead the relationship with the Underwriting function - to inform our carrier strategy.
Fully accountable for the roadmap of new product launches and existing product optimisations.
Own the end to end product lifecycle - identify gaps in our products that could better meet customer needs, launch new products and performance manage when live.
Understand that we are a scaling business and support with the setup of the product management function.
Collaborate closely with a wide range of stakeholders (customer operations, underwriting, leadership team etc.).
Very data driven and work closely with technology, data and UX teams to conceptualise, design and deliver large data-driven systems.
Identify and translate customer needs into a product roadmap through meaningful quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Understand process mapping and optimisation in order to pinpoint operational improvements.
About you:6+ years product management experience within insurance, ideally with background in managing commercials.
Background in managing and mentoring others for success.
Commercially and technically minded.
Have experience in setting up best practices to manage products and shape the direction of the product management function.
A passion for data and technology and a drive for understanding what is 'under the hood'.
Knowledge of Agile processes e.g. SCRUM and Kanban, including roles, responsibilities and rituals.
Care for the quality of work and the impact it has on our users.
It's beneficial if… You have experience using JIRA to document requirements.
You've used Tableau or Looker for data analysis.
