Senior Product Manager

Details of the offer

About Us:
We exist to root healthcare back in our communities. We believe that patients should feel empowered to access clinical care near them as easily as they book an Uber. We leverage technology to surface and optimise unused practitioners' availability (think travelling salesman problem!). We then work with healthcare providers to deliver care ranging from blood sample collection to wound dressing and reach patients where and when they feel most comfortable, at home.

We have tripled our volume of appointments every period since going live at the end of 2023 and have secured seed funding from leading VCs in the space. We're a team of technologists, clinicians, and commercial leaders with a track record of success in launching, scaling, and exiting ventures in cloud technology and healthcare.

Your Role: At our fast-growing healthtech startup, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping a truly unique product in the industry. With complex logic driving our algorithm, we're looking for someone who's curious, loves to look under the hood, and thrives on the challenge of improving core functionalities. You'll build a deep connection with our product's inner workings, continuously refining and enhancing the way our tech stack operates.

As a key collaborator in our lean, high-performing team, you'll act as the conduct between our commercial, clinical, and tech perspectives. Your mission will be to lead discovery efforts, gather requirements, and ensure they align with our big-picture strategy. From initial concept to implementation, you'll see the process through every step of the way, helping us deliver a product that pushes the boundaries of healthcare innovation.

What You'll Do: Work with full-stack, cross-functional product team and clients - across both the supply and demand side of the platform to: Deliver continuous improvement to existing platform features and algorithms driving availability optimisation.
Develop key features across the entire product development lifecycle including discovery, scoping, and ticket writing through to implementation.
Work closely with our leadership team and our Product Lead to develop the long-term product roadmap in line with our company vision.
What You'll Bring: Significant experience working with cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, and commercial leads.
A background in engineering and/or quant that means you are comfortable with data and numbers. You have experience using data to drive real-world actions and ideally have coding experience.
An ability to work in sprints and ensure that complex features can be broken down into bite-sized development. Our engineers work to keep work batches as small as possible and deploy to production ASAP, driving a cadence of weekly product demos and ensuring every bit of code we write is used.
Top Qualities We're Looking For: You believe that there is beauty in simplicity and will strive to drive back to first principles when working on complex customer problems.
A critical mind that helps you guide your organisation to thoughtful and clear decision-making. Our curiosity and initiative are the two biggest inputs that empower us to talk to customers, evaluate tradeoffs, and dig into the data. We aim to continuously ask ourselves "Are we solving the most important customer problems right now? Are we doing so in ways that align with our overarching strategy?"
Ready to be challenged and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment.
Qualifications & Experience: 4-6 years of experience working in engineering and/or product roles, including startup or scale-up experience.
Equally comfortable with high-level strategy work and rolling up your sleeves to conduct primary research with key stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work closely with our Product Lead and Engineering Lead to deliver at pace.
Degree in engineering or science or humanities if coupled with work experience learning coding and data analytics practices.
What We Offer: Our salary for this role is competitive. We also grant generous stock options to any permanent employee at the end of the probation period.
Base holiday: 33 days base holiday (25 days + 8 bank holidays) and your birthday off as extra!
Frequent company socials, trips, and meals: We organise many socials, quarterly retreats, and annual company-wide retreats.
