How will you add value to the OpenPayd journey?Managing your product's mid to long term feature roadmap that is based on outcomes and aligned with the wider business roadmapManaging and prioritizing your product backlog daily and as part of your team's agile/lean development processesMeeting frequently with sales, ops, marketing, finance, compliance, legal and other stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of their business processes and needsCapturing product requirements from customers and stakeholders and writing accurate user storiesPreparing low fidelity wireframes and flow diagrams to bring your user stories to lifeWorking with product designers (where applicable) to turn your wireframes into tangible design assets based on user researchWorking in partnership with engineering, brainstorming ideas together and ensuring developers understand WHAT needs to be built and what value does it have at all timesAssessing new product ideas and leading product/feature discovery workshops using the desirability, viability and feasibility frameworkResearching the competition and capturing market insights pertaining to your assigned product area on a regular basisIdentifying market opportunities and contributing to the wider product vision and business strategyUpdating regularly the wider organization on the progress of new product releasesProviding customer-facing narrative and positioning of features for your product area and contributing to Product Marketing collateral for new product releasesGathering post-launch/post-release customer feedback and capturing learnings to adapt the productChampioning user experience (UX) throughout the organizationSetting KPIs for features being delivered. Monitoring assumptions and validating hypothesesThe ideal candidate will have the following:6+ years' experience in a software product management roleSuccessfully developed from scratch and launched at least one product in the banking, payments or fintech spaceStrong understanding of APIs; experience in API usage is mandatoryStrong understanding of major payment rails including FPS, CHAPS, SWIFT and SEPAAbility to bridge the gap between technical and business teamsNatural curiosity about solving customer problemsFocus on outcomes rather than outputsGood sense of UX, demonstrated through wireframing and diagrammingExperience leading cross-functional teams using agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Lean, XP)Exceptional synthesis and conceptualization skillsExperience writing product requirements specsSelf-starter capable of working autonomously but also a team playerThrives in dynamic, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments
