Senior Product Manager - Health Ai

Details of the offer

At Microsoft AI, our health team is on a mission to help millions of users better understand and proactively manage their health and wellbeing.
We're responsible for ensuring that Microsoft AI's models and services are useful, trusted and safe across diverse customer health journeys.

For this role, the Microsoft Health AI team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the development and delivery of our core health product solutions.
Across all our hires, it's important for colleagues to share our enthusiasm about the role of technology and AI in health and healthcare, but also appreciate the challenges and risks of delivering effective solutions in a complex and safety-critical space.
By design, we will remain a lean team (albeit within a much larger organization), and as such you will need to be action-oriented, self-sufficient and actively help to cultivate and promote a positive team culture.

Microsoft's wider mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
As employees, we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals.
Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Responsibilities: Drive the "rhythm of business" for how we collaborate, make decisions, and prioritize as a cross-functional R&D team.
Be a cultural champion and bar setter.
Serve as the point-of-contact and connective tissue between engineering, design, clinical, and business teams, focusing clear goals and driving scope alignment from ambiguity.
Partner closely with engineering teams in particular to translate business constraints and technical concepts into clear, actionable delivery plans.
Work across our platform, model architecture, and inference teams, as well as our front-end application and user experience teams.
Build trust and legibility for the larger organization by owning and widely socializing the key source of truth assets across platform architecture, data libraries, capability roadmaps.
Balance technical feasibility, competing stakeholder demands, clinical safety, resourcing, and vision to consistently deliver a coherent product strategy.
Operate with high independence, agency, and accountability.
Lean into ambiguity, change, and challenge.
Ship high-impact products.
Qualifications: Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's or Higher Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND product management experience in a technology/software product organization.
Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering scaled software products.
Experience in healthcare technology, particularly in regulated medical devices.
Passionate about conversational AI and its deployment.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
Passion for learning new technologies and staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in AI.
Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment, fostering knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, ancestry, color, family or medical care leave, gender identity or expression, genetic information, marital status, medical condition, national origin, physical or mental disability, political affiliation, protected veteran status, race, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or the recruiting process, please send a request via the Accommodation request form.

Benefits/perks listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Microsoft and the country where you work.
