You will join us as a Senior Product Designer in our Customer Squad.
This squad provides excellent end-to-end experience across the Wolf & Badger website and represents the voice of our customers across the business.
This team are customer advocates, connecting regularly with customers through interviews, usability testing and data insights to ensure we're delivering an innovative browse and buy experience that is aligned with their needs.
Their broad remit includes day-to-day optimisations, as well as conceiving and delivering longer-term strategic projects.
You will: Own and execute on our end-to-end design process for the Wolf & Badger website Use the Double Diamond methodology to understand problems and work closely with product and engineering to ensure we deliver the right solutions for customers Own, maintain, and deliver against our design system Ensure UI excellence in our designs and delivered product Regularly speak to our customers to understand the problem space and design better solutions for them Work with our Product Managers to inform and guide our Product Strategy Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, evangelising them internally Guide and mentor more junior members of the design team Our Values in Action Our core values of Execution, Innovation, and Fairness are our guiding principles, driving us to deliver exceptional results, pioneer new ideas, and uphold integrity in all our interactions.
Here is how these values translate to skills required for this role: Requirements Execution You have extensive experience (ideally 5+ years) of working in a similar B2C / e-commerce environment, delivering beautiful customer-facing, mobile-first, intuitive experiences for customers You've built and iterated complex design systems, with a focus on usability, best practice and speed of execution An eye for detail that extends to all phases of the product development lifecycle.  You can conceive and deliver pixel-perfect designs and collaborate with engineers effectively to ensure a smooth execution of your designs You feel at home collating customer insights and acting as the voice of the customer at the company level.
Innovation As a Senior Product Designer you will have your finger on the pulse regarding new innovations in the space, wider user behaviour and trends to help inform our product design.
You'll be comfortable pitching new ideas and researching new exciting design approaches for us to try When approaching a design problem, you do not rely solely on looking at industry standards (although still important), you think about the problem in new ways and push the boundaries, trying new ways to solve problems using new technologies and techniques  You are reflective and create considered 'insight loops', ensuring as a design and product team we are always learning from everything we do and baking that learning into our future developments Fairness You have excellent communication at all levels - are able to easily communicate the 'why' and your reasoning to a wide range of stakeholders and bring them on board.
You are confident in your ideas but open to learning from others.
You have the drive to share work early and often, and to foster a mindset of collective ownership and effort.
