We're looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join the Data Science and Analytics team, reporting to Louis, Senior Analytics Manager.
As a Senior Product Analyst, you will translate data into insights and drive improvements to our product, operations, and strategy.
You will be the expert on learning from evidence, assessing impact of opportunities, and developing models on our product, users, and business.
You will join a cross-functional product team focused on the consumer side of our marketplace.
This team focuses on connecting buyers and sellers so that any available artwork on Artsy can find its perfect home.
You will collaborate closely with a Product Manager, a Product Designer and a Technical Lead to drive the development of impactful products delighting Artsy users.
You'll also be part of our Data Science and Analytics team – providing support across all of our products and operations by developing insights and enabling analytical and automated decision making.
We build strong partnerships with key stakeholders and foster a data-driven culture in which analytical insights guide continuous improvements across the organization.
We're a collaborative and agile team with ample opportunities for ownership and growth.
This is a full time hybrid role, with in office attendance required 3 days a week.
This role is based in our London office. What You'll Do at Artsy:Be a strategic partner to product and business leaders and develop opinionated data models on our users and business to help drive the right decisions
Identify, implement, monitor, and report on team-wide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objective and Key Results (OKRs)
Ship data products that improve our understanding of the art market, Artsy's marketplace, and how to best serve our collectors and partners
Work with stakeholders to instrument proper tracking and define new data models, design and implement data pipelines
Ensure your product team is rooted in evidence-based decision making: design and report on A/B tests using rigorous hypothesis testing methods, advance our experimentation framework
Apply statistical and machine learning models (i.e.
Regressions, Clustering, Random Forest, Natural Language Processing, etc.)
to inform improvements to our business and product such as user segmentation and recommendations
Build data expertise, best practices and own data quality for all analytical data needs
This role is a fit for you if:You are currently authorized to live and work in the United Kingdom.
This role is based in London. You have previous experience spanning product analytics, data analytics and data science, and are proficient in SQL and statistical programming in Python
You have a demonstrated ability to translate analytical insights into clear recommendations and to communicate them to technical and non-technical colleagues
You have experience leading cross-functional projects end-to-end successfully and in a timely manner
You understand what an 80/20 solution is and have experience working quickly, iteratively, and know how to prioritize for impact
You have experience with applied statistics and a breadth of modeling techniques (ex.
regressions, clustering, random forests, causal inference) to solve business and product problems
You have experience in designing, validating, and deploying data models to production that address user needs
You're energetic, curious, thoughtful and passionate about defining problems and reaching conclusions
You know that data doesn't fall from the sky in .csv form.
You know that there's a backstory to any data point, so you're not afraid to dig deep to understand your raw material
You are a team player.
You understand that being a good teammate requires a combination of soft skills & feedback, and is the key to being successful in a matrix organization
You care deeply about giving and receiving feedback.

You've demonstrated rapid product development in consumer tech and bring domain experience in recommender systems and experimentation
