Senior Procurement Manager

Job Title : Senior Procurement Manager Contract Type : Outside IR35 Location : Hybrid (just outside of London) Contract Length : 18-Month Day Rate Contract Overview : Our client, undergoing large-scale transformation programmes, is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager with Security Clearance to lead complex procurement activities.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in regulated procurement environments, particularly in public sector or defence industries.
Key Responsibilities : Procurement Strategy : Develop robust assessment models, create procurement schedules, and produce Invitations to Tender ( ITT ).
Supplier Engagement : Engage with the marketplace to refine and agree on procurement strategies.
Procurement Execution : Manage the entire tender process, including launching the ITT , responding to tender queries, and managing the evaluation process.
Contract Award Recommendation : Produce a detailed recommendation report for governance and approval.
Required Skillset : Procurement Experience : Extensive experience in managing large, complex procurements, particularly within the public sector or defence industry (e.g.
BAE Systems , Thales , Rolls-Royce ).
Regulated Environment : Must have worked in procurement within a regulated environment , ensuring compliance with all necessary rules and regulations.
Self-Starter : Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, taking the initiative to drive procurement processes forward.
Active Security Clearance Contract Details : Outside IR35 Hybrid working arrangement 18-month day rate contract This role is ideal for an experienced procurement professional with a deep understanding of regulated procurement and a track record of leading large, complex projects.
