Senior Procurement Manager – Property & FM | Hertfordshire | Global Consumer brand £65,000-£75,000 + 20% bonus + great pension (matched up to 7.5%) + private healthcare + additional benefits Overview: A brilliant role has come up in the Procurement market for someone to come in and lead key aspects for this organisation across Property & Facility Management Procurement.
This brand is renowned for its innovative ways of delivering products into their consumers and has gone from strength to strength in market presence in the past few years.
This role will focus on developing the strategy for Property & FM, which will require working alongside technology, distribution and property colleagues.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work with senior colleagues across the business to create, build and develop category plans in line with the companies key objectives.
What the role involves: Delivering high savings targets through implementation of robust sourcing events, ensuring that suppliers meet all operational requirements whilst providing the best value for the business Ensure positive relationships with suppliers & colleagues to support, endorse and deliver plans aligned to category procurement strategies to realise business savings and support innovation Developing and delivering procurement strategies, which truly support the business objectives Writing and delivering the procurement category plan for Property & FM Implementation of robust contracts across the category Consistently track and report on savings targets for specified sub-categories using the agreed process Lead supplier reviews, acting as the point of contact for contract-related issues The person we hope to find: Property & FM category experience is an essential Strong leadership skills – the ability to lead and mentor a team of 2 Procurement Managers Proven experience in managing large scale 'cradle to grave' sourcing projects within Property Procurement is critical Proven experience in working in a fast moving and result driven environment which demands to work under pressure.
A background in FMCG is preferable but not essential Capacity to build trustful relationships in all levels of organisation Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills Proven team leadership skills and ability to manage remotely Entrepreneurial mindset Ability to work in a truly global organisation.
Proven experience in working in a fast moving and result driven environment which demands to work under pressure.
