As the Senior Process Engineer, your role is pivotal in optimising and troubleshooting offshore processes to improve operational efficiency.
You will investigate and resolve process-related issues in a timely and effective manner ensuring the Anasuria FPSO delivers against annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) pertaining to safety, the environment and production.
This role also includes the identification and implementation of improvement opportunities to enhance Oil and Gas production, and reduce asset emissions in line with the goals of the "Net Zero Policy" whilst ensuring that all initiatives are managed and in compliance with company, industry and regulative requirements and policies.
It will also expose you to technical and asset report writing for asset management as required.
Role and Responsibilities: Health, Safety and Environment · Ensure production operations, projects and engineering modifications are conducted in an effective and safe manner in compliance with Company, industry, and regulative requirements.
· Support delivery of safety, integrity, and environmental performance of the operated and non-operated assets.
· Driving reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through implementing optimisation initiatives, and identifying potential plant modifications in line with AOC's "Net Zero Policy".
· Ensure highly visible and effective HSSE leadership and performance.
· Ensuring any Technical & Engineering modifications encompass latest HSEQ legislation and compliance.
Strategic Priorities · Provide technical Process Engineering knowledge and experience input to company strategy.
· Establish and maintain effective production processes to ensure efficient and cost, efficient production delivery in support of company strategy.
· Establish and maintain effective engineering and project processes to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery in support of company strategy.
· Lead project implementation in support and delivery of company strategy.
· Promote industry best practices and new technology being applied.
· Work with other Functions to develop and strengthen relationships and technical linkage with Department Heads and Key Contractors.
· Contribute to the development of the production improvement plan by identifying production improvement opportunities, lead implementation within scope and measure improvements.
Asset Responsibilities · Provide Process technical support to offshore and onshore operations teams.
· Focus on maximising production by identifying optimisation opportunities through topsides plant surveillance and investigating and resolving process-related issues or plant upsets in a timely manner.
· Use root cause analysis to diagnose problems and implement corrective actions.
· Monitor production systems to identify and address potential bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
· Collect, analyse, and interpret data to assess process performance and identify trends.
· Prepare detailed reports and presentations on process improvements, system performance, and project status.
· Develop and maintain effective performance measures to ensure timely management information and decision making.
· Ensure production losses are recorded and furnished with effective improvement actions.
· Contributes to the Annual Business Plan (ABP), ensuring any future modifications are budgeted for.
· Manages ongoing budget expenditure and reports any costs which were not planned for in the ABP.
· Ensuring any Technical Process, Engineering & Operations changes identify and communicate any required new Competencies of the offshore workforce.
· Responsible for technical input to Operations procedures, Maintenance deferrals, CAT 1 documentation changes, and Operations Risk Assessments (ORAs) within discipline as appropriate.
· Ensuring a robust Management of Change (MOC) process is followed in all Technical, Engineering & Operations modifications.
· Ensures any Technical Process, Engineering & Operations changes have followed a robust HAZOP/HAZID process.
· Participate in various engineering review meetings such as HAZOP, LOPA, HAZID, etc.

Education & Associations (Essential) · Chemical Engineering degree (w/ hons) or equivalent.
· Working towards Chartered status.
· Member of recognised Engineering Institute.
