Job Description Summary Job Description The GE Vernova - Electrification Software team works with Electric Transmission and Distribution companies that operate the electrical grid.
We deliver mission critical industrial software to connect producers to consumers while balancing and optimizing the electrical grid.
With the energy transition and the increasing penetration of renewable energy grid operators are facing incredible challenges to securely supply electricity and cost effectively.
We are looking to enhance our team with a senior Data and Integration specialist to enthusiastically support us building and supporting our market share.
Focused on our GridOS Data Fabric and Connect products.
Roles and Responsibilities A trusted technical advisor on the Commercial Sales Team.
Aligns capabilities to specific outcomes, creates reference architectures, and calculates potential solution value.
Consult with our customers, map outcomes and develop solutions with measurable beneficial outcomes.
Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in the Data Integration and management domain and possess communication skills to influence others.
Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
Has or able to develop in-depth knowledge of the value of data and integration within an Electrical Distribution Utility for Grid Management.
Maintain the demonstration environments and supporting collaterals Integrate new features and products and build out real world user stories to illustrate the improved workflows using our new GridOS technologies.
Collaborate with our technology partners and manage the integration scenarios into the demonstration suite.
Provide product presentations and software demonstrations to our installed base and prospects.
Support user forums and conferences and develop a thought leader position in the region.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Required Qualifications Degree level qualification in Software Engineering Qualification or demonstrable experience with cloud technologies Desired Experience Significant experience with a major iPAAS or similar solution provider Knowledge of the Utility Sector a bonus Additional Job D escription Additional Information Compensation Grade SPB3 Relocation Assistance Provided: No
