This is a rare opportunity in which you will be integral in the development of the service in line with the recommendations set out within the Kinship Strategy, as well as joining a highly skilled, well established therapeutic team with a heart for children on a Special Guardianship Order and their families.
You will need to be motivated, enthusiastic and willing to work differently.

About YouTo apply for this post, you must: Under the direction of the Team Manager, to be responsible overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Post SGO Service.
To be responsible for a limited caseload of complex cases.
To attend/chair Pod / staff meetings and agree and negotiate tasks/activities on cases; attend/chair a range of identified meetings including Signs of Safety Meetings, Partnership Meetings and Review of Therapeutic provisions.
To accept responsibility for efficient management of own caseload and provide advice and guidance to team colleagues to help them manage their caseloads.
To provide guidance and assistance to all team members, particularly newly appointed or inexperienced social workers and those undertaking post-qualification training.
In the Team Manager's absence, to act as a liaison point between team members and the covering manager.
To attend and contribute to team meetings and senior practitioner meetings.
