Are you a passionate and experienced Podiatrist with a proven track record in leadership?
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to take on the role of Lead Podiatrist within our clients team in Falmouth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our podiatry services, delivering high-quality care to our patients while providing strong leadership to the team.
Package: Competitive salary of £45k-£50k per annum plus £5k discretionary bonus (flexibility for the right candidate) Full time permanent contract Chance to help grow a thriving well regarded business Ongoing career development Support with further training / qualifications Friendly team Other great perks associated with the role Key Responsibilities Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of podiatry services, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
Manage a complex caseload of patients while delegating and supporting the team.
Team Leadership: Provide clear leadership and guidance to podiatrists, foot care assistants, and administrative staff.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Service Development: Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of podiatry services, implementing best practices and innovative approaches.
Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to clinical governance and quality standards, participating in audits and implementing necessary improvements.
People Management: Responsible for staff performance management, including appraisals, training, and development.
Manage sickness absence and recruitment processes.
Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information sharing.
Essential Criteria BSc (or equivalent) in Podiatry HCPC registration Minimum of 5 years experience as a podiatrist Proven leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Desirable Criteria Experience in managing chronic and complex wounds Non-medical prescriber qualification or willingness to undertake Clinical Educator experience Experience in a community setting and care homes Management qualifications This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated podiatrist to make a significant impact on the lives of our patients.
