This is a fantastic client-side opportunity with an attractive and well-established developer; the team is looking to hire a Senior Planner to join their Manchester team.

My client specialises in land promotion nationally with a focus on residential and mixed-use developments.

Key responsibilities include: Drafting and finalising reports to support planning applications, appeals, and policy presentations.
Preparing well-researched, professionally presented reports and representations to support site promotion and accompany planning application submissions.
Undertaking site visits and meetings with landowners, agents, and local authority officers.
Conducting research and analysis to develop strategies for site promotion, allocation, or planning applications.
Assisting Planning Directors, Planning Managers, and Senior Project Managers as needed, with additional involvement in broader planning matters as directed by senior colleagues.
Candidates will have: Experience in Strategic Policy Planning (desirable but not essential) 4+ years experience Experience in managing workload and projects Proactive and positive attitude Exceptional communication skills Ambition to take on leadership responsibilities and progress This role has a very realistic and clear progression pathway to excel within your career at a successful development organisation that has an exceptional reputation within the market.
