The University of Central Lancashire is recruiting for a Senior Placements Co-Ordinator to join the team that manages placements within Academic Registry. This is a critical role in the administration of key aspects of student placement management. This is a fixed-term contract to cover parental leave for 12 months or until the return of the substantive postholder.
The successful candidate will support the Placements Senior Manager with the implementation and delivery of IT systems to support excellence in student placement management. They will contribute to the development and maintenance of processes and procedures to ensure quality, compliance and the highest levels of satisfaction for students, academic colleagues and placement partners.
You will need a degree or equivalent experiential learning and will need to demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. You will be an effective negotiator and able to influence other people's thinking with the ability to contribute to service and policy development, able to work both independently and collaboratively. They will need to be well organised to manage the team with a varied workload of administrative responsibilities, and so previous management experience is essential.
