Senior Php Developer

Job Title: Senior PHP Developer Location: Oxfordshire (Hybrid)
Package: £55,000 - £70,000 per year, plus benefits
Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join a rapidly growing technology platform in the UK.
As a key member of the development team, you'll be instrumental in extending and improving our API services, developing new features, and optimizing performance.

Key Responsibilities: Extend and develop new APIs for our app development team using Laravel .
Support and improve our bespoke PHP-based legacy systems.
Implement performance improvements to keep the platform running at its best.
Work on integrating the platform with external services such as EPOS systems, payment gateways, and last-mile delivery providers.
Conduct thorough code reviews and support less experienced developers.
Assist in the planning and execution of complex development projects Requirements: 6+ years' experience in PHP development, with a strong background in backend technologies.
4+ years of experience working with Laravel or Symfony frameworks.
Proficiency with MySQL and working with large data sets.
Familiarity with JavaScript , HTML , and CSS .
Experience using GIT for version control.
Solid understanding of unit testing and working in a TDD environment.
Bonus Skills: Experience with app development .
Knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms.
