We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join us as a key member of the Pharmacy Team.

The role is Senior Pharmacy Technician, Stock Control responsible for stock control within the dispensary including inventory management, high cost medication and FOC products.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running and maintenance of the departments automated dispensing unit.

Main duties of the job In this role you will be responsible for the management of stock control within the dispensary.
You will work closely with the department's procurement team to ensure inventory is accurately managed.
You will need to be a highly motivated and responsible individual with a passion for accuracy and high standards.
You must have a high level of attention to detail and develop knowledge around the automated dispensing unit.
You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal and use these to communicate with relevant pharmacy and ward staff regarding supply problems, with a view to prioritise and identify solutions.
You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills further through our Accelerated Leadership Programme supported by a friendly and experienced team.
You will play a key role in the education, development, mentorship, supervision and assessment of all staff that work within the department.
