Senior People Business Partner (Contract Logistics)

In the UK, we are currently looking for a Senior People Business Partner (Contract Logistics) to join our People Team.
The role will report into our UK People Director and will have a team of 3 site-based HR Advisors/People Partners reporting into them.
The role will require regular travel to all of our Contract Logistics sites in Hemel Hempstead, Biggleswade, Medway and Purfleet, with some flexibility for remote working 1-2 days per week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional, with a strong background in a senior HR role, within a logistics environment, to make a significant impact on our business.
You will be required to: Work as a trusted partner to the Senior Contract Logistics stakeholders, providing strategic and operational support to the business, whilst developing a first-class generalist HR service Support the business in developing and delivering strategic people plans Analyse HR data/metrics, trends and market analysis to inform decision making and recommend improvements/actions Assist with recruitment, selection and long-term resource planning Manage complex employee relations cases Drive a high performance culture through effective performance and talent management processes Promote employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives Drive strategies to support the development, engagement and retention of our colleagues Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR Strategies to support our business objectives Ensure our HR practices are aligned with our business goals and values About you: Proven generalist HR experience in a multi-site business You must have solid experience of new business implementations and change management, in a growth environment Strong understanding of TUPE legislation and be able to evidence previous experience of the effective management of end to end TUPE processes Be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation Demonstrate success in a People Partnering role Experience of logistics or a similar environment Ideally CIPD qualified Demonstrate highly effective coaching and influencing skills Strong communication skills You must be commercially astute Ability to think strategically Experience of managing a team of people
