Senior Pensions Technician

We are recruiting for one of our clients who is looking for a Senior Pensions Technician to join their home-based team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Support the policy & procedure and administration teams in delivering services.
Be responsible for supporting the administration team and projects by identifying innovative ways of improving processes and their implementation.
Implement changes to the systems and find efficient, cost-effective solutions.
Work closely with senior leadership to ensure that the work and scope of projects cover necessary aspects.
Train and align yourself with the team and other dependent business partners, ensuring optimum project-aligned tasks and implementation processes are followed.
Collaborate with the operations team to balance operational needs with project requirements.
Work collaboratively with other technicians and programme managers to review projects in the pipeline and analyze operational aspects and their impact on operations.
Deliver training to the team on legislation updates or improvements to processes.
Write and review work instructions and process notes to enable the administration team to adhere to policy.
Analyze data sets to identify trends and provide management with valuable information.
What We Are Looking For: Strong knowledge of DB and DC pensions.
A self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate with the ability to work to tight deadlines, with minor or no supervision.
A successful track record in building relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
Skilled in the use of MS Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.).
Strong analytical and data-analysis skills.
Exposure to pensions calculations, with the ability to complete reconciliation tasks.
