An established and reputable investment management and financial planning organisation with over 100 years of experience is seeking a skilled Senior Paraplanner to join their expanding Financial Planning team.
With a national presence and ambitious growth plans, this firm is dedicated to providing top-tier financial advice and solutions to a diverse, high-net-worth client base.
This role is ideally suited to experienced, career-oriented Paraplanners who hold, or are working towards, Chartered status via the CII.
The position offers a predominantly remote setup, requiring office presence only occasionally (one a quarter appx in London), making it an attractive opportunity for individuals seeking flexibility without compromising on professional growth and challenge.
As a Senior Paraplanner, you will work closely with two Senior Financial Planners who manage substantial high-net-worth client portfolios.
Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with Financial Planners to understand and support client financial objectives Preparing high-quality, tailored suitability reports and recommendations Conducting thorough research and analysis on a range of financial products, funds, and investment options Ensuring all reports and advice adhere to regulatory and internal compliance standards Assisting with client queries and coordinating follow-up support as needed Creating cash flow models and performing risk assessments to underpin planning recommendations Supporting client review processes with detailed documentation for annual and ad-hoc reviews Qualifications and Skills: Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent; Chartered status (or progression towards it) is highly desirable Strong technical knowledge of financial products, including pensions, investments, and protection Proven experience in a paraplanning role within wealth management or financial advisory Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and compliance-focused reports Proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., Voyant, FE Analytics) and Microsoft Office High attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to client service Benefits: Flexible hybrid working arrangement with minimal office attendance Competitive salary and discretionary bonus Comprehensive benefits package including pension contributions and private medical insurance Supportive environment with opportunities for professional development and career progression Predominantly remote, office based once per quarter (and other times when required) This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated Paraplanner looking to deepen their expertise in a stable, professional environment.
