Job summary The Senior Organisational Development Practitioner (OD) will implement critical OD initiatives and projects.These initiatives will support UHDB's 'Exceptional Care Together' Strategy 2024-2030.
The role will focus on the 'people experience' 5-year goal with emphasis on the underlying enabler of 'compassionate and inclusive culture (C&I) with continuous improvement.They will provide specialist OD and C&I services to stakeholders and support the continuous quality improvement agenda in areas such as behaviours and values, C&I Culture, culture change, ED&I initiatives, employee engagement, leadership development, change management, talent/succession planning and team development.The post holder will work with people services colleagues and partner a specific area of the organisation to deliver positive cultural change, ensuring L&D interventions impact on employee engagement and service performance.
Main duties of the job Deliver key OD and C&I initiatives to support the strategic and operational aims and objectives of the Trust.
Business partner a part of the organisation, shaping people plans and activities to deliver positive organisational change through a range of OD and C&I activities.
To lead the development and delivery of organisational development (OD) and C&I plans and bespoke interventions that support divisional and Trust strategic priorities.
Developing and overseeing data driven, people focussed action plans to improve culture, performance and team effectiveness and C&I culture To lead specific organisational wide programmes and projects.
To design and deliver leadership development training through a blended approach.
Coach and mentor a range of leaders to support them improve their practice.
To develop teams to manage conflict, build trust, collaborate and co-create results to enable exceptional care delivery.
To act as a mediator when relationships have broken down, and facilitate restorative solutions.
