Monday - Sunday excluding Bank HolidaysJob Type: Permanent This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ophthalmic Imager seeking promotion and the opportunity to expand their clinical and managerial skills within a more senior role.
Areas will include the following: Fluorescein Angiography Retinal Photography Colour Fundus and Anterior Segment Imaging Slit Lamp Imaging Stereo Imaging Indocynanine Green Angiography Digital Imaging Clinical still and video photography Corneal Topography OCT Imaging Main duties of the job The award winning Ophthalmology Outpatient Department has vacancies for friendly, enthusiastic and caring Senior Imaging technicians to join our dedicated team of professionals.Ophthalmic imagers seeking promotion and the opportunity to expand their clinical and managerial skills within a fast paced ophthalmology setting, will be challenged to develop and learn new skills to enable you to deliver high quality patient care.The post holder will be based at the Hull University Teaching Hospitals, Ophthalmology Outpatients and East Riding Community Hospital based in Beverley, and will be expected to travel for further cross site working.

Job description Job responsibilities For further information or to arrange a visit please contact Helen Hobman, Specialist Ophthalmic Imaging Lead either on 01482 816655 or via email Person Specification Education and qualifications Essential GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Evidence of personal development Desirable HDN in medical photography BSc Health science (Ophthalmic Imaging) Knowledge, Training and experience Essential Imaging experience at band 3 ophthalmic Imager Experience in photography/illustration and multimedia Excellent computer skills, including word processing and databases Able to undertake Retinal Fluorescein Angiography and anterior segment photographic techniques Desirable Basic knowledge and understanding of ophthalmic anatomy and physiology and disease processes Knowledge of video conferencing, recording and sound software Experience in using digital photographic techniques
