A new and exciting opportunity has arisen in NHS Highland for an experienced and dynamic Senior Operational Manager to lead the delivery of scheduled care services.
Based within Raigmore Hospital, this is a pivotal role covering Inverness Acute Hospitals to ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care within a complex and ever-evolving healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will hold responsibility for the effective planning, coordination and delivery of scheduled care services including the associated government targets/initiatives.
You will lead and support multidisciplinary teams to achieve service performance targets and to deliver quality and safety in patient care, holding responsibility for budgetary management and financial target delivery.
The post holder will be expected to develop and implement strategies for improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency and to manage resources effectively in compliance with NHS policies and standards.
You will be required to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.What we're looking for:Reporting to the Head of Operations for Inverness Acute Hospitals, our ideal candidate will be an ambitious and experienced manager with an acute services background, able to demonstrate a proven track record of operational management and a good understanding of scheduled pathways in the acute care setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams is essential, as is the ability to meet non-negotiable deadlines, often at short notice.
