You will provide an occupational therapy service by assessing, implementing and evaluating programmes of person-centred care as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
Main duties of the job About the role:Responsible for assessment of service user needs and to develop an appropriate person centred treatment programme to meet individual needsTo promote choice in all aspects of clinical practice reviewing and making suggestions to enhance the service user experience and enabling concerns and complaints to be raised freely by service users and their representativesTo liaise and communicate with other health and social care professionals and volunteers in the planning and delivery of occupational therapyTo ensure appropriate provision and maintenance of equipment within available resourcesTo ensure that up to date written and electronic records are maintained in accordance with Professional and Charity standards, and that sensitive information is held securelyResponsible to share knowledge and expertise with other staff through formal and informal teachingFacilitating the safe and smooth running of the Service, the post holder is expected to maintain a safe working environment, maintain service user confidentiality, and occasionally take on reasonable additional tasks About us Brainkind is a charity that aims to improve the lives of peoplewith brain injuries in the UK.Our assessment centres, rehabilitation units and hospitals use expert neurorehabilitation to support people to regain the skills they have lost.
