Main duties of the job The role of this nursing assistant post is flexible, and the post holder will therefore, be required to provide support over a wide range of service/functions.
These may include but are not limited to providing some basic elements of patient care, assisting with procedures/chaperoning, application and removal of simple dressings, obtaining blood samples and ecgs, and some clerical duties such as dealing with patient notes and referrals.

Job description Job responsibilities The primary focus of the role will be to provide essential clinical care to patients under the indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse / Midwife Perform a range of delegated clinical duties utilising and developing the skills identified for the clinical area Participate in the provision of quality patient care Record all clinical tasks undertaken for patients within the nursing documentation Accurately measure and document patient observations reporting the patients condition to a Registered Nurse / Midwife Promote Making Every Contact Count with health promotion opportunities.
