Job summary We are looking for a Band 3 Nursing Assistant to join the friendly Day Case team.
The unit is rapidly expanding, caring for patients undergoing a variety of gastroenterology & hepatology day case procedures and ambulatory care requiring infusions for Inflammatory Bowel Disorders, blood transfusions and other interventions suitable for daily admissions.
The role would include working alongside a multidisciplinary team, providing high quality, patient centred care to a wide range of patients.
The successful candidate would need to be motivated, organised and possess outstanding communication skills.
Candidates should enjoy working in a team environment, work well under pressure and have a flexible approach to work.
We are currently open Monday to Friday.

Person Specification care support worker band 3 Essential Significant experience of the NHS and/or health/child care and an interest in the speciality with knowledge of wider issues relating to health care Able to work under minimal supervision but fully aware when to escalate concerns to a registered practitioner Evidence of level 2 Apprenticeship or Diploma in Health related subject Desirable cannulation and venepuncture Evidence of the Care Certificate or commitment to achieve on joining Trust.
Understanding of the Code of Conduct for Health Care Support Workers and Adult Social Care Workers in England Up to date knowledge and insight into specialist area gastro & hepatology
