About the Role As the Senior Noise and Nuisance Officer, you will be at the forefront of addressing and resolving noise and nuisance complaints across the borough, helping to create a safer and more peaceful environment for residents.
Reporting to the ASB, CCTV & Enforcement Manager, you'll take a lead role in managing complex cases, conducting investigations, and enforcing relevant legislation, such as the Environmental Protection Act and Noise and Statutory Nuisance Act.
Your responsibilities will include responding to noise complaints both during and outside regular hours, gathering and preserving evidence, and preparing detailed case bundles for potential court proceedings.
Working closely with local police, statutory organisations, and internal colleagues, you will coordinate joint enforcement actions, share intelligence, and ensure a consistent approach to noise and nuisance reduction.
In this role, you'll also provide data and performance insights to senior management and support the preparation of reports and briefing notes for council committees.
This role is ideal for someone with strong investigative skills, experience in enforcing environmental and noise control laws, and a commitment to protecting the quality of life for our communities across Haringey.

About the Team We are a high performing team, that works collaboratively with a range of internal and external services.
The ASB Enforcement team undertakes investigations of high level anti-social behaviour.
This includes responding to individual reports and undertaking partnership work in relation to hotspots.
