About the role Cano Water is looking for a field based Senior National Account Manager within the wholesale channel to manage two of the highest value customers in Foodservice.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving the Cano Water growth within the foodservice sector, specifically Bidfood & Brakes.
This customer focused role will be reporting into the Head of Sales with a requirement to travel to our head office in Elstree, Hertfordshire, as and when requested.
Key responsibilities include: Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize sales and profitability in Brakes & Bidfood through all sectors (Corporate & Independants).
Own the full P&L responsibility for key accounts, closely monitoring financial performance and identifying opportunities for growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in client organizations.
Manage contact plan with customer sales teams, and attend sales meetings, depot meetings + regional events Develop and execute Joint Business plans with key accounts, driving mutual growth and success.
Conduct regular business reviews with clients, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Supply Chain, to ensure effective execution of account plans.
Provide accurate sales forecasting and budget management for assigned accounts.
The successful candidate will have: Minimum of 3 years of experience in National Account Management within the FMCG sector, with a focus on the Wholesale sector, specifically Brakes & Bidfood.
Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of delivering results.
Experience in owning full P&L responsibility for key accounts, driving revenue growth and profitability.
Demonstrated experience in Joint Business plan formation and execution.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data and identify insights to drive business growth.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
Salary Banding £60k plus Pension and car allowance (£6k) plus 10% Bonus on KPI achievement.
