This unique environment provides an opportunity for our people to develop their skills as well as their careers, supported by access to a learning and development programme that is second to none.A unique joint force that will disrupt real estate cost management in LondonA data and digital led business, with an authority on the economics of sustainability, that will take our service to the next levelA wide, diverse and exciting portfolio of sectors and clients, which means we will be stronger togetherMarket leading practice that is focused on transforming performance and creating great results for our Clients and People, in a fun and exciting environment where people are proud to workA strong strategic and cultural fit with an ingrained entrepreneurial spiritYou can realise your career ambitions faster with London's cost consultancy of choiceJob DescriptionTo conduct feasibility studies and writing procurement reportsTo apply Value Management techniques at the outset of a project and where appropriate involve Turner & Townsend's specialist Value Management teamTo manage estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and present the final cost planTo manage the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectivelyTo manage the tender process for MEP packages including tender document, tender clarifications, interview and tender recommendation report if required.To ensure that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectivelyTo ensure that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectivelyTo ensure the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to the clientValue engineering and life cycle costingTo ensure that final accounts are negotiated and agreed; validate the monthly payment claims and prepare payment recommendation for MEP related works/packages.To take a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stagesWhere appropriate, lead a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilitiesQualificationsBachelor in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management/Engineering or equivalentMinimum 10 - 15 years' experience in related fieldsCandidate from Batam is preferredExcellent technical knowledge and experience across the full range of Cost Management duties including: Cost Estimates, Bills of Quantities, Value Engineering, Tendering and Evaluation, Contract Knowledge, Change Orders and Final Account close-outCandidates with experience in commercial, corporate and high tech experience are preferred.
Experience from consultancy background, well versed with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work experience is preferred.Team player with excellent leadership and problem solving skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to negotiation, influence and persuade othersAdditional InformationOur people share our Purpose and Values.
