Senior Menswear Designer - Smart Contemporary Brand

Seeking Senior Menswear Designer to join a premium, smart and contemporary brand.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing high-quality, on-trend knitted and woven garments that align with the brand's aesthetic and meet customer expectations.
The role is tailored towards someone with a smart, contemporary casual edge and a keen eye for detail.
This role requires a deep understanding of menswear design, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities will include: Creating contemporary and commercial designs for multi-product menswear brands, including the design of smart outerwear, shirting, woven bottoms, jersey and knitwear Ensuring collections are on-brand, trend-forward and commercially viable Management of critical path deadlines from creative concept to completion Participate in the planning and development of seasonal collections, ensuring they are cohesive and aligned with the brand's vision and DNA Source, develop and select high-quality fabrics / handlooms that meet design and production requirements Creating seasonally appropriate colour palettes Develop and maintain an understanding of current and future trends in menswear Produce detailed technical specifications and sketches Conduct fit sessions and sample reviews with technical team Presenting collections to senior management and stakeholders Work closely with the production, technical and merchandising teams Analyse market / sales data and consumer feedback to inform design decisions Travel when needed to support the business Person Specification At least 5 years of experience as a designer in the menswear industry Commercially minded, quickly responding to business/market needs with a great understanding of menswear design principles Proven track record of designing successful and commercially viable collections Strong understanding of menswear design principles, trends, and best practices Impeccable presentation and communication skills, both verbally and written High work ethic, integrity and reliability with a "hands on" attitude Excellent technical drawing and sketching skills Highly proficient in CAD software (e.g.
Adobe Suite) Strong knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and production processes An understanding of knitted accessories, along with print techniques & processes would be a bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr
