### Role Overview:
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering engineering design packages that meet the required standards of time, cost, and quality.
Under the direction of a Principal Engineer or Senior Engineers, you will provide skilled engineering support and may supervise a small team of junior engineers and drafting resources.

**Design Deliverables:** Produce high-quality design deliverables such as drawings, reports, and calculations, adhering to agreed safety, cost, quality, and time standards.
**Expert Guidance:** Offer advice and guidance on issues pertinent to your discipline.
**Continuous Learning:** Stay updated with the latest developments in your field and contribute to the skill development of your colleagues.
**Process Improvement:** Participate in the development and application of technical and managerial processes within your work area.
**Compliance:** Adhere to all relevant legislative, regulatory, and company policy standards and processes.
### Qualifications & Experience:
**Essential:**
A minimum of a 2:1 degree in a relevant engineering discipline with substantial design office experience.
Alternatively, a lower professional qualification (e.g., BTEC) typically gained through an apprenticeship, coupled with extensive design office experience.
Proficiency in applying engineering theory and drawing practices in your discipline.
Working knowledge of national and international codes, specifications, and standards Competence in using 3D CAD systems, preferably Inventor/Vault.
**Desirable:**
- Familiarity with engineering design stages and processes, including design reviews and HAZOPs.
