The Opportunity We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Mechanical Engineer to work in the data centre sector.

As part of our team, you'll be involved in shaping some of the most innovative buildings worldwide.
We work with all the major cloud services providers and many of the larger colocation and developers in the DC industry.
Our team is actively engaged in global projects, spanning from the initial feasibility stage to the practical completion.
The role will see you:
Directing the comfort and thermal analysis of buildings and spacesSupervising the spatial and technical co-ordination of building services and integration into the designManaging the production of models, drawings, reports and specifications to budgets and deadlinesSupervising and coordinating the work of others, including other disciplines and in-house specialistsIs this role right for you? We're looking for a candidate who:
Is a Chartered Engineer in the field of Building Services and has hands-on experience in systems, installations, and various project sectors (specifically DC and mission critical)Supports the performance, growth, and development of others by providing guidance, training, and constructive feedbackDemonstrates knowledge and passion for sustainable building design, focusing on energy efficiency and carbon reductionHas strong commercial awareness, with experience in predicting, planning, and managing resource requirements to achieve financial targetsIs proficient in using energy modeling software, ideally IES, and 3D modelling software, RevitWhat we offer you At Arup, we care about each member's success, so we can grow together.
