We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team.

Key Responsibilities : Perform design work on customer and development projects.
Collaborate with a cross-functional design team to deliver coordinated solutions.
Attend project meetings and provide expert advice on mechanical design and technical aspects.
Take ownership of mechanical design from concept through to assembly, ensuring it meets both functional and cost targets.
Provide technical support to assembly and commissioning teams.
Ensure compliance with UK and European safety legislation, including conducting risk assessments.
Travel occasionally for UK and international project meetings.
Experience Required: 5-10 years experience in electro-mechanical design.
Proficiency in 3D modelling (SolidWorks) and 2D drawings.
Experience in design for manufacturing, meeting cost objectives, and performing engineering calculations.
