Job DescriptionPost Title: Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer Location: InvernessHours: 35 hours per weekDuration: PermanentSalary: £47, - £52, p.a.Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.Contact Person: Neill Blacklaw Tel: E-mail: Job Purpose: To work as part of a M&E Engineering Team, led by the Principal Engineer, to provide professional technical advice and information on all aspects of Environmental Design with respect to Mechanical & Public Health building services and its subsequent operation and maintenance within buildings, in line with the Council's policies (inc. Net Zero), collaborating with others within Design & Construction and the Property Service generally.Please APPLY ONLINE.

Please check your emails regularly, including your junk/spam folder.RequirementsMinimum of BEng(Hons) in Mechanical, Buildings Services, Energy or other relevant Engineering degree, and be able to demonstrate relevant design work experience within the Built Environment at a suitable level.Knowledge of Building Technical Standards, CDM Regulations, Energy Management, metering requirements, Energy Efficiency, Sustainability, Gas Regulations, F-Gas Regulations, Electricity Regulations, British Standards, CIBSE, BSRIA, WRAS, IGEM, etc., guidance.Be in possession of a valid driving licence to enable efficient and effective travel between various workplaces and work locations within the Highlands to meet the operational requirements of the service.
