About the role We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Architect to join our dynamic Missile Architecture team.
This role is pivotal in the development of next-generation missile systems, guiding their design from initial concepts through to production and in-service support.
You'll ensure the integration of mechanical and functional requirements across all subsystems while maintaining a focus on performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Your key responsibilities will include: Defining hardware and mechanical design requirements at the system level.
Conducting system architecture trade-offs to achieve optimal solutions in performance, cost, and reliability.
Driving design principles such as modularity, reusability, and efficient assembly.
Justifying design decisions and leading verification efforts to confirm compliance.
Supporting technical reviews during project milestones and managing supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Overseeing budgetary allocations and mentoring junior team members.
