Job DescriptionRole: Senior Marketing Manager
Reports to: Marketing Director
Direct reports: Executive/Manager level reports
Salary: £42,000–£46,000 depending on experience
Hours: Mon–Fri 09.30–17.30, hybrid working and happy to discuss flexible working.
Tuesday and Thursday are fixed days based in our head office.
However, to meet business needs, flexibility to work up to three days in the office is strongly encouraged depending on projects and team requirements.
Flexibility in working hours and location is required for this role during awards events.
Location: London, E2 6EH, happy to discuss flexible working or reduce number of days worked per week.
We do operate a hybrid way of working.

Job ObjectivesDevelop and implement D&AD's annual performance marketing plan to effectively drive commercial goals including increasing customer acquisition; increasing revenue through cross and up-selling products; managing and optimising marketing channels, budgets and forecasting as well as performance analysis and reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing planning and executionDevelop and implement the Performance Strategy for D&AD products.
Lead the role in creating the organic and paid performance plans, identifying the right channels to invest in such as paid and SEO.Plan and execute the annual marketing calendar that clearly identifies key activities and tactics throughout the year.Project-manage the delivery of a large number of integrated marketing campaigns simultaneously, prioritising and managing deadlines, budgets and marketing team resources to deliver high-quality work within budget and on time.Coordinate and arrange creative production through in-house content team and external teams of agencies as well as internal cross-functional teams to ensure the right comms and content go out across the right channels, including digital, social media, e-mail and content marketing.Manage and optimise marketing channels including paid social, email, web and PPC etc.Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business such as digital/web, sales, product and finance teams to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with D&AD's overall strategic and commercial goals.People and agency managementLine manage team members - set direction, goals and review performance.Manage external digital agencies - set clear expectations and goals and evaluate agencies' work regularly to ensure timely and quality work, and ROI - above all ensuring they execute marketing campaigns and initiatives well.FinancialBudget management and forecasting for marketing activities and tactics on the plan.Develop and manage campaign and advertising budgets, allocating resources effectively and forecast the impact of marketing campaigns on revenue growth.Determine commercial KPIs for each campaign based on business priorities.Negotiate fees with external suppliers and ensure costs fall within budget and achieve the best ROI for spend.Reporting and EvaluationSet and agree key performance metrics and ensure these are tracked and translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team.Performance analysis reporting - manage and optimise marketing channels such as Google ads, social ads etc.
to ensure that campaigns are delivering the desired results to drive customer acquisition and revenue.Analyse campaign performance and report on key metrics to stakeholders across the organisation - evaluate and report on each campaign, providing clear analysis of what the campaign has achieved and what learnings to take forward.Evaluate and report on the effect of all channels including digital, social email, PR and what it has achieved for each campaign.Skills/experienceProven Marketing experience, preferably running campaigns and programmes directly – candidates need to have a strong grasp of Marketing fundamentals (audience, proposition, channels).Previous experience in digital marketing role, delivering business growth through performance marketing channels.Technical skills and platform expertise - deep understanding of digital marketing platforms including Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta ads, Pardot, HubSpot etc.Proficient in using Google Analytics, Data Studio and other data analytic tools to measure and analyse campaign performance and customer behaviour.Analytical and data-driven decision-making - excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies to optimise performance from the data.Strong quantitative skills needed to brief, interrogate and absorb insight from analysis and research.Experience working across multiple disciplines, traditional print and display media, direct and digital.Strong talents for customer service, customer advocacy and thinking big picture/long-term.People Management experience strongly preferred.Project management and organisation - must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst effectively prioritising and managing deadlines, budgets, and resources to deliver high-quality work within budget and on time.D&AD is committed to diversity, equality, equity, inclusion and respect for all.
