We're looking for a Senior Manager, Liberty Procurement Services ( LPS) Corporate Strategy in London UK
The Senior Manager, LPS Corporate Strategy will play a critical role in crafting the strategic direction of Liberty Procurement Services by supporting corporate planning, identifying growth opportunities, and driving development initiatives.
This position requires an individual with an eye for business, a detail-oriented approach, and persuasive communication abilities.
The successful candidate will collaborate with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to develop and implement strategies that differentiate us in the market and drive sustainable growth.
The ideal candidate will be hard-working, motivated and have demonstrable experience working within a fast paced, demanding environment.
Strategic experience gained within the professional services market (consulting, managed service or technology segments) would also be preferred.
Prior experience in procurement is desirable.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Corporate Strategy: Develop and refine the LPS overall strategic plan (including the long-range financial plan), aligning it with the business goals and objectives.
Collaborate with the LPS management team and broader LG/LFS SMEs to define the strategic direction and identify growth opportunities.
Corporate Development: Identify and evaluate partnerships, acquisitions, and expansion opportunities to drive LPS growth.
Work closely with broader Liberty Global and LFS M&A/corporate development teams to assess market feasibility, perform due diligence, and develop partnership/acquisition plan models.
Programme manage the delivery of partnership creation, acquisitions and other expansion opportunities.
Strategic projects: Delivery of LPS strategic projects e.g.
market feasibility, regulatory/compliance impact assessment, operating model projects.
Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis on the procurement-as-a-service market to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential risks.
Stay up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes and other anticipated changes that may impact LPS strategy.
Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive intelligence activities to monitor competitors' strategies, proposition offerings, pricing models, and market positioning.
Use this information to identify areas where LPS can differentiate and gain a competitive advantage.
Partner Management: Engage with key partners, both internal and external, such as LPS management team and delivery groups, clients, industry groups and leading authorities to communicate the LPS strategic vision and progress and solicit feedback.
Build strong relationships to gain support for critical initiatives and ensure alignment with LPS business objectives.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
PREFERRED EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:
·                Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related field.
MBA or advanced degree/qualification is desirable.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
·                Proven experience gained in strategic consulting or other corporate strategy departments within the field of professional services or in a blue-chip in-house procurement group.
Outsourcing experience highly desirable.
·                Excellent knowledge of procurement services market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
·                Deep understanding and interest in procurement technology landscape and how this will change the future of procurement.
·                Demonstrated track record of leading successful corporate initiatives.
·                Outstanding communication and presentation skills, being able to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
·                High level of business intuition, with a broad understanding of procurement and financial principles and metrics.
·                Proficiency in using analytical tools, market research techniques, financial modelling and business case development.
·                Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
·                Ability to deliver to tight timeframes
·                Experience operating in an international/multi-country/matrix environment
