Senior Manager of FP&A - Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of the annual budgeting process, including revenue forecasts, expense projections, and capital expenditure planning Collaborate with department heads to ensure that financial goals are aligned with overall business objectives Prepare monthly forecasts and variance analyses to evaluate financial performance against budget and previous periods Identify key drivers of variances and provide actionable recommendations to optimize financial outcomes Partner with senior management to assess critical initiatives, investment opportunities, and potential business risks Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to understand the financial impact of various business decisions Develop and maintain management reporting dashboards and key performance metrics to monitor business performance Present financial results and insights to executive leadership in a clear, concise manner to facilitate data-driven decision-making Build and maintain complex financial models to support long-term planning, scenario analysis, and investment valuation Continuously refine models to reflect changing business dynamics and market conditions Work closely with departments such as Sales, Operations, Quality, and Human Resources to ensure alignment of financial plans with operational strategies Act as a strategic partner to functional leaders, providing financial expertise and guidance Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning processes Leverage automation and digitization tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort Support business unit-level initiatives, special projects, and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed Recruit, lead, coach, and develop the finance & accounting team to ensure professional and technical growth Foster talent retention and enable career progression within the team Senior Manager of FP&A - Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and MS PowerPoint; additional IT skills such as Data Warehouse, Oracle, and SAP are advantageous Demonstrated success in driving operational improvements and implementing best practices within an FP&A function Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a proven record of career progression and a desire to stretch capabilities Mantell Associates is a specialist Pharmaceutical and Life Science headhunting firm.
